Barrage’s mid-laner Kruimel: “I am sure we will give everyone a good show.”

This Wednesday the UKLC starts their fourth tower tournament. Many questions are still to be answered as the teams are coming up to the halfway point of the season.

Some squads, like Diabolus and Fnatic Rising, have cemented themselves as playoff contending sides, whereas exceL have yet to show their true ability. Barrage is among many other organisations who have one point to their name. These sides will certainly be wanting to prove themselves this week. One crucial victory not only provides extra points for playoff contention, but also leaves an organisation with nothing until next week.

Barrage’s mid-laner, Kruimel, speaks about his side’s journey so far this split.

He says: “The split has been pretty tough, all though it shouldn’t have been this hard. I am not quite happy with the results, but I am not angry or mad either. We knew we had to change some things, which we did and now we are quite happy how things are going.

The player wants his side to take advantage of their momentum.

The changes Kruimel was referring to were shown in last weeks game against Bulldog Esports. According to the mid-laner, the victory will motivate his side as they look to continue improving every tournament.

After getting that first point we knew we managed to fix most of our problems, and we were playing much more solid than the games before. So we were pretty happy about that,” says the Dutchman.

We are really confident coming into the fourth tower tournament. I have got a good feeling that we can make it higher than our previous games. We might even get into the tower challenge match. Especially with how much we have improved since the start, I am sure we will give everyone a good show.

600px-Barrage_Esportslogo_squareMost players in this league strive to accomplish two things. To win championships and to put themselves in a position where they can continue playing League of Legends. The mid-laner explains that he is playing to further his career and so every performance in the UKLC means something.

I want to get at least top four this split in the UK scene. In the meantime, I am just looking to Improve as a player and making people notice me. I am not sure what I will do after this split ends, it would be great to join an academy team or play in ESL Masters again. I will see what the future has planned for me.

Barrage will want to impress this week if they dream of getting into the playoffs this split. One thing that is for sure is that the man in the middle is willing to give everything for his side. The organisations next game might be one that fans should particularly look out for.

Don’t forget to watch the UKLC this Wednesday at 6pm live on Twitch!
