Enclaves Mid Laner Beeley: “The competition has been better than I was expecting.”

The UKLC’s fourth tower gets underway this evening. For some sides, they are on their way to achieving a top-four finish. Whereas for others, they have yet to record a point on the leaderboard.

Enclave was never seen as the tournament favourites. However, at the halfway stage of the split, they will be disappointed to be winless. The team’s mid laner, Beeley, was a last-minute addition to the squad, having initially being signed to the organisation as a streamer. So, despite his line-ups rocky start, he believes in his abaility to provide enclave with their first victory.

The player returns to his former side and he hopes that he can make the organisation proud.

He says: “I think so far I have performed much better than I was expecting, I didn’t have a big notice before being told I would be playing so I had to catch up quick, I have a lot I can improve on but I am definitely holding my own against the other mids in the UKLC.”

The midlaner also admits that the overall competition this split has surprised the player.

He adds: “The competition has been better than I was expecting, a lot of teams went backwards in terms of raw talent but have also been playing better than they should be. This could be due to the overall decrease in skill making the competition at lower level closer but who knows, it makes for interesting games.”

For Enclave to secure some valuable points, they must defeat Diabolus. At the beginning of the tournament, this may have been seen as an easy game for Enclave. However, the demons’ unexpected performances currently have them sitting in the playoff places. It’s fair to say that this match-up will be challenging and Beeley knows that.

“Diabolus are definitely playing very well, the team has a lot of drive and I know from first hand experience PFI their jungler wants to win more than anything. We have played them once and it was a really close game that we had the advantage in for most of the game, so if we can emulate that again we should be fine, but who knows,”

“Their most talented player is for sure their midlaner Furuy, although he didn’t do much for the first 30 minutes of the game last time 😉 he eventually won the game almost singlehandedly so we will have to watch out for him.”

Despite Enclave’s less than impressive start, the team still has high hopes for the remainder of the season. Last year the organisation finished fifth with only four points. For the Summer Split, the Brit and his team still have faith that they can make it to the playoffs.

“Our goals as a team is a top 4 finish with EUM insight, personally I want to show that will a good team and a good working environment that I am one of the best midlaners in the UKLC and that I can compete.”

Diabolus Vs Enclave will be streaming Live on Twitch at 7pm. The UKLC begins at 6pm tonight!
